One of the main and key obstacles against social security extension was millions of files, records and documents concerned to payment of insureds contributions accumulated over 52 years that would lead to dissatisfaction of insurds, employers as well as costly and slack performance in organization. These problems caused the SSO to put accurate and multilateral implementation of managing records plans and also establish new system of information in 1999 in its Agenda.
The importance of plan implementation is that in an insurer organization such as the SSO, payment of contribution determines the rate of benefits that social security organization must consider as the insured's right at the time of implementation of its liabilities.
Social security organization, in order to perform organizational extension, as well as quality promotion and as a responsive organization, achieved many aims in implementation of managing records plan as follows:
- To collect records of contribution payment
- To collect and process information and establish new information system in social security organization.
- To assist in establishing the insured identification system in SSO.
- To facilitate the affairs and speed of tasks, as well as to decrease the expenses and to standardize processes.
- To decrease the bureaucracy and elimination of unnecessary files.
- To provide better services for insurds and prevent trampling their rights.
- To mechanize insurance affairs and fulfill insurance calculations.
- To make accessible records through out the country.
- To Mechanize insurds records system and delivering their report card to them.
- Attracting the satisfaction of insureds and employers.
This plan is now under final process.
